This exciting new Hydrogen Plant is to be installed at Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI)'s site in San Luis Obispo, California, USA, as part of a partnership with CHAR Technologies (TSXV:YES). The project is focused on the conversion of Anaerobic Digestate (AD) through High Temperature Pyrolysis (HTP) - a self-sustained thermal conversion process - to generate green H2. 

The key process steps Anergy will provide using our HTP process involves the drying of residual moisture in the digestate releasing steam, volatilisation and pyrolysis of organic compounds realising a syngas, steam reforming of the char, catalytic methanation and water-gas-shift (WGS) to capture the pure H2 product, before performing any final selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to clean the residual emissions.
